Lippy: No Gloss is an alternative women’s magazine based at the University of Leeds. We cover a broad ranges of topics, from politics to art, music to fashion, and film to food, aiming to provide a platform for thinking voices from every background. Our main articles are published here week by week, and we publish two print magazines per year, one in December and one in April. Our fashion and music blogs are also a thriving platform for the creativity, talent and passion we channel, hoping to interest and inspire our readers.
We are constantly on the lookout for new contributors, so if you want to get your work out there and published, get in touch and get involved - we welcome guest contributions. Find us on Facebook - Lippy No Gloss 2015-2016, follow us on Twitter @lippy_nogloss, or email us - [email protected] to find out more about what we do.
For students in Leeds, come along to our weekly meetings which run every Wednesday during term time from 1pm in Room 5 upstairs in the union building. We welcome writers, photographers, artists, designers, marketers and advertisers to join us on the team - whatever your talent, we welcome your input.
Keep and eye out for our next print edition, coming out in December 2015!
Meet the people behind Lippy. As a team, we work hard to bring you a women’s magazine with a difference, striking a balance between intelligent debate, light-hearted comment, and everything in between! If you are interested in contributing to Lippy, find us on Facebook or Twitter, or drop us an email at [email protected] – we’d love to hear from you!
