At Lippy, we work hard to bring you a women’s magazine with a difference, striking a balance between intelligent debate, personal rant and light-hearted copy. We provide an alternative to mainstream women’s magazines by being unafraid to voice raw opinion, tackle the controversial and provide a voice for the thinking student body.

Lippy has a history that spans more than 30 years and has been produced in many different formats. Even though editors, writers and artists may change, the essence of what Lippy is has remained. We relaunched our website in September 2011 with a new team, and the response has been incredible.

We aim to encourage talented writers, artists and designers, and are constantly on the lookout for new contributors – so if you want to get your work out there and published, get in touch and get involved. We are dedicated to finding an eclectic bunch of contributors - whatever your background, gender or music playlist. We are based in Leeds but open to all for contribution. We welcome guest contributions – submit your articles here.

Every week we provide you with new articles here on our website. We also have a twice-yearly printed publication: the next issue, entitled ‘The Unseen’, will be on sale in November.
